Tollywood Fans’ Mixed Reaction On Prabhas’ Brother

Until yesterday, there have been non-stop speculations about the actor who will be portraying Laxman’s role in Prabhas’ Bollywood debut film, Adipurush. There has been a constant buzz that National award-winning Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal will be playing Laxman in this epic mythological magnum opus based on Ramayan.

However, pulling off a major surprise, Adipurush’s makers have finalized Sunny Singh as Laxman. Sunny is a talented young actor who played supporting roles in hit movies like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Sunny had started out as a TV actor and acted in the hit soap opera, Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Meanwhile, Adipurush’s makers’ decision to sign on Sunny has received a mixed response from Prabhas’ Tollywood fans. A section of fans opine that a well-known actor like Vicky Kaushal would have created more buzz for the project.

But another section agrees with Adipurush’s makers. They feel that, since its Prabhas’ maiden Bollywood film, a popular star like Vicky Kaushal will steal more limelight and that Prabhas will now be highlighted more with Sunny Singh as his Laxman. It’s worth mentioning that Adipurush also features Saif Ali Khan as the main antagonist, Lankesh, and Kriti Sanon as goddess Sita.
