With the success of Malayalam ‘Drishyam 2’ the Telugu remake was also confirmed and recently it went for a formal launch too. Post the launch, some rumours came that the film will have cameos of ‘Baahubali’ star Rana Daggubati and Samantha Akkineni.
Wonder from where this rumour came, it did stay in headlines for a couple of days. But the team of Telugu ‘Drushyam 2’ did not respond to the rumours and so this has put Daggubati fans in a dilemma.
When the rumour emerged they were delighted that they would be seeing Venkatesh and Rana in one frame. But much to the disappointment, there is no truth and it is acknowledged by Rana himself.
When Rana was asked for a clarification on ‘Drushyam 2’ cameo by media persons during his recent interaction, he rubbished them off and added that he is not at all part of that film. So the rumour is busted and settled!
Presently, Rana is working in Virata Parvam and Pawan Kalyan’s most-awaited Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake.
