Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil is all set to make his foray into Tollywood with Pushpa. Fahadh will be playing the chief antagonist in this Allu Arjun starrer. Fahadh joining this pan-India film has given it a huge boost and record openings are expected in the Telugu states and Kerala.
And the latest buzz is that Pushpa’s makers have shelled out a bomb to rope in Fahadh to play a negative role in their movie. Apparently, the power-packed performer is being paid a whopping Rs 5 crore (excluding GST) as his remuneration for Pushpa.
Fahadh is one of the highest paid actors in the Malayalam film industry and he will definitely not sign a project on the basis of his paycheck. Apparently, he was quite impressed with Pushpa’s intense storyline and his characterization and was happy to give his nod. He will kickstart the shooting for his part from April in Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu.
