Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s fans are eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film Vakeel Saab, which marks his comeback on the silver screen after a gap of three years. The film’s director Venu Sriram says that it is not a frame-to-frame remake of the original version Pink.
Sriram said that he infused a lot of elements in the Telugu version to suit the sensibilities of our audiences. He added that the soul and psyche of the original version will remain the same. Apparently, Dil Raju once introduced Sriram to Trivikram and later, the star director introduced him to Pawan. Sriram never thought the Pink remake would fall in his lap but when it did, he was highly elated.
Venu Sriram also revealed that Pawan’s name in the film is Satyadev. People around him call the lawyer fondly as Vakeel Saab. It seems that the film runs from the perspective of the three women until Pawan takes the centre stage. The director affirmed that people will know the reason behind naming the film as Vakeel Saab, after watching it in theatres.
Vakeel Saab will hit the screens on April 9. The music album scored by Thaman already became a big hit.
