Two biggest stars Allu Arjun and NTR have received a major shock from Telugu audiences as two of the films strongly promoted and endorsed by these two stars have failed to create magic at the Box Office. While Allu Arjun had vouched for Chavu Kaburu Challaga that was bankrolled by his friend Bunny Vasu and presented by Geetha Arts, NTR has gone all out for Rajamouli & Keeravani’s family for Thellavarithe Guruvaram.
Both these stars have expressed great confidence in these respective films and went overboard in terms of praising these films pre-release. And the results of these two films have indeed given an unforgettable shock to Bunny and Tarak.
Chavu Kaburu Challaga has become a disaster and it turned out to be first major disaster for Geetha Arts in recent times and Thellavarithe Guruvaram has misfired miserably and stood out as the bad film produced by Vaarahi Chalana Chitram till date. Both CKC and TG have marred the respective production houses image and also the two big stars who vouched for them.
It is clearly evident that neither fans nor audiences are watching films just because their favourite star promoted the film. Audiences are only stepping out for movies that got decent talk and good word of mouth. Uppena and Jathi Ratnalu are one such classic examples.
Meanwhile, some fans of Allu Arjun and NTR too opining that their favourite stars should not have gone such overboard before a film’s release no matter what is their association with the films or the people behind the films.
