It was a miraculous escape for actress Raadhika Sarathkumar who has escaped unhurt from Sri Lanka's serial blasts that claimed the lives of 185 people and injured over 400 people. Raadhika was in Sri Lanka today on a work. She had stayed at Cinnamon Grand. After she wrapped up her work, she came out of the hotel.
After a while, the blast at Cinnamon Grand has taken place leaving many dead and several injured. Shocked with the incident of blasts, Raadhika explained how she escaped from the deadly explosion.
"OMG bomb blasts in Sri Lanka, god be with all. I just left Colombo Cinnamon grand hotel and it has been bombed, can't believe this shocking," Raadhika took to Twitter to express the shock.
Her husband and actor Sarath Kumar also stated, "A dastardly act of terror unleashed in Colombo is condemnable, our heart goes out to innocent lives lost in the attack @TamilTheHindu @ThanthiTV @bbctamil."
According to reports, the blast took place at around 8.45 AM as Easter Sunday masses were in progress. Raadhika might have escaped but several innocent people have died and many were severely injured.
