Pawan Kalyan’s keenly awaited film ‘Vakeel Saab’, has wrapped up its censor formalities earlier today. This intense and emotional courtroom drama on sexual harassment on women has received a UA certificate from the CBFC panel.
It’s been also revealed that Vakeel Saab has a runtime of 2 hours 34 minutes. This is a decent runtime, considering the genre and tone of the film. We will have to wait until April 9th to see how director Venu Sriram has blended commercial elements to drive an important message within this duration.
Vakeel Saab’s trailer was launched a couple of days ago and it is taking social media by storm. The trailer has clocked over 30 million views with a staggering 1.2 million likes on YouTube, which is a never heard record for any Telugu film trailer. This proves the amount of Pawan’s comeback is carrying among his fans.
Vakeel Saab is an official remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee’s national award winning film, Pink. The film has Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, Shruti Haasan and Ananya Nagalla in lead roles. Also, the counters between Prakash Raj and Pawan in the courtroom is something to watch out for.
