In a shocking incident, a man rammed his car into two US Capitol police officers on Friday afternoon. The officer was killed in the incident and the suspect was shot down by the police. The suspect Noah Gren, 25, is said to be a Nation of Islam Devotee from Indiana.
The US Capitol building was locked down after this incident. The two officers and the suspect were taken to different hospitals.
The suspect drove his car at a vehicle checkpoint on the north side of the Capitol along Constitution Avenue in Washington DC and he came out with a knife after hitting the police officers with his car.
The suspect’s car is said to be a dark blue sedan. After the deadly Capitol riot on January 6, heavy security was placed at the US Capitol buildings.
