The scuffle between the Vakeel Saab theater owners, distributors, and the AP government is going back and forth with new orders each day. The single bench ordered the Vakeel Saab shows to have ticket price hiked for three days yesterday.
The latest order from the High Court corrected it ordering only one day (Saturday) for price hike and the shows should open bookings at the ticket price decided by the AP Government. The High Court also allowed the prices for tickets booked online up to shows for Sunday.
Earlier, the distributors and theater owners of the Vakeel Saab movie approached the High Court about the ticket price hike for which the Single Judge ordered allowing it for three days and passed the same to 13 districts’ joint collectors and AP govt.
The AP Government filed a house motion petition against the verdict of the single bench.
