Gunasekhar’s False Covid Positive: Shakunthalam Resumes

With a rise in COVID cases in the Telangana state, the officials are requesting the public to wear a mask in public places. The second wave of Corona is going to be terrible, as per the health practitioners.

With each passing day, there are a lot of people coming in contact with virus. Already, it is known about producer Dil Raju testing positive for the virus. There were reports that director Gunasekhar also tested positive but he issued a clarification on the same.

Taking to Twitter profile today, the director posted, “Hi Happy Ugadi to you all Yesterday I had a false positive COVID test during a routine testing activity that we do on sets upon further testing and inspection it was confirmed by doctors that I DO NOT have COVID and so I’d be resuming the shoot with all precautions in place.”

With this clarification, let us hope that the film’s shoot continues as per schedule. The movie unit is shooting the movie in Hyderabad currently. Samantha along with other principal cast is participating in the shoot.
