One of the nicest box-office hits of this year is Uppena, starring debutant actors Panjaa Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty. Directed by newcomer Buchibabu Sana, this romantic drama went on to collect more than Rs.80 crores at the box office. After 60 days of its release, Uppena has now premiered in digital space.
The film is currently streaming on the streaming giant Netflix. Many people who had missed watching it in theatres were waiting for the film’s OTT release for a long time. Now, the wait has ended and the makers are expecting to receive a good response on the OTT space too. Uppena also features Tamil star hero Vijay Sethupathi in the role of an antagonist.
The heart-touching romantic drama laced up with a shocking twist in the end, made Uppena become a successful venture. The movie will premiere on television this Sunday. Thus, people who missed watching it in theatres can catch it on either Netflix or television.
