After Pushpa, Sukumar To Direct Ram Charan

Sukumar is now one of the most happening directors in Tollywood. With Pushpa’s teaser turning out to be a massive success and expectations on the film skyrocketed, all eyes are on Sukumar’s next. It is learnt that there is a change in plan for Sukumar’s line-up.

Although Sukumar and Vijay Deverakonda’s film is launched earlier, Sukumar would start his next with Ram Charan first after Pushpa. Only after Charan’s film, Sukumar would direct Vijay Deverakonda film. The makers of Pushpa have aimed for an Aug 13th release on the eve of Independence Day. It is expected that the Covid second wave would cool down by then and Pushpa would hit the screens on time.

And Sukumar is expected to start his next with Vijay Deverakonda only after Ram Charan film which is likely to take time. On the other hand Vijay is busy with his Bollywood debut Liger which is yet to be completed.

Meanwhile, Charan has Shankar and Dil Raju’s film after RRR. It needs to be seen whether Charan would simultaneously work with Shankar and Sukumar or would do one after the other. So, after Allu Arjun, it is Ram Charan for Sukumar. On the other hand, post Liger, Vijay Deverakonda has a film with Tuck Jagadeesh director Shiva Nirvana and it will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

However, the line-up of Sukumar and Vijay depends on Liger result. If Liger turns out to be success, Vijay plans to do more films in Hindi.
