Allu Arjun Out Of Icon?

If grapevine is anything to go by, Allu Arjun is out of Icon. Producer Dil Raju is rumoured to be hunting for a star hero to cast in Icon. This is the hot topic in Tollywood circuits. Buzz is that Bunny has suggested some crucial changes in the script which haven’t gone down well with producer Dil Raju as well as director Sriram Venu. This could be the possible reason for not materialising the combination of Bunny-Sriram Venu. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

It can be noted that during the recent media interaction, Dil Raju made it clear that his next production will be ‘Icon’ and it will be directed by Sriram Venu. However, Raju hasn’t mentioned Allu Arjun’s name which fuelled the ongoing rumours. Meanwhile, to another question by media persons on the sobriquet ‘Icon Star’, Raju said, “Icon Star is not given by us. He himself got it.” These comments of Raju have upset Bunny’s fans. All these are fuelling the rumours that Allu Arjun is out of ‘Icon’.

Allu Arjun’s last film with Dil Raju was DJ (Duvvada Jagannadham) and the film didn’t meet the expectations. Then, Allu Arjun has promised to do a film with Raju which is yet to be materialised. Now that Bunny is in the best phase of his career with the industry blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and the expectations on his next Pushpa skyrocketed, Bunny is charging a fancy remuneration. This could also be a deal-breaker. Whilst the reasons are not yet known, it is strongly buzzed in film nagar that Raju is planning to rope in another star hero for the film. Let’s wait for an official confirmation.
