Mega Prince Varun Tej is doing a sports backdrop genre for the first time and it’s ‘Ghani.’ The film had wrapped up a couple of schedules so far and now the shooting received breaks owing to the second wave.
Sharing the same, Varun wrote, “Gloves off, will resume #Ghani shoot soon! #Covidmeasures.” The shooting might begin in early June month. Irrespective range and budget, all big to small films and their shootings are getting pushed as the filmmakers are in no mood to take risks.
‘Ghani’ is being written and directed by Kiran Korrapati and it also features Jagapathi Babu, Kannada actor Upendra, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, Naveen Chandra and Saiee Manjrekar in the prime cast.
TFI’s top producer Allu Aravind’s elder son Allu Bobby is making his debut as producer with this film and is bankrolling ‘Ghani’ with Sidhu Mudda on Renaissance Pictures banners.
