Actress Pooja Hegde mourned the death of her favourite teacher and she recollected the warmth she shared with her. Taking to her Instagram, Pooja shared a story and stated that some teachers are pure gold.
“Heartbroken to hear that my favourite teacher Mrs Jesica Daruwala is no more. Her kindness towards me when I was down, is something I will carry with me forever. Thank you for shaping me into who I am Mam by teaching me much more than Geography. Thank you for seeing me when I was invisible. Gone too soon. Sending her family loads of love and light in these tough times,” wrote Pooja in the story.
Further Pooja shared a clipping of her interview on the occasion of Teacher’s Day about five years back. “Had given this interview about her on Teacher’s Day five years back. So glad I did because it made her so happy to see her name in a newspaper that she had called me about it. Teachers are true heroes. She will be missed,” added Pooja.
This is a small gesture of Pooja expressing her gratitude to her favourite teacher who taught more than academics.
