Singer Sid Sriram is one of the most happening singers in Tollywood right now. His unique voice and his style of singing has amassed good fan following. His songs have become big hits, thanks to his distinctive style of singing, his voice and work approach. Though there have been several speculations around Sid Sriram’s working style and his choosiness in industry circles, music composer and singer RP Patnaik has confirmed it on camera.
RP revealed Sid Sriram’s working style and his remuneration.With RP Patnaik’s words, it brought authenticity to the speculations surrounding Sid Sriram.
“Sid Sriram used to charge about 4 lakh per song. He is now charging about 4.5 lakh-plus-GST per song. Given the demand for his voice, it is reasonable on his part to cash in on the craze. He only records one song a week. He is very selective. He will only sing a song if he is impressed with it. He won’t sing all the songs that come his way. That’s how he created a value for himself in the music industry,” said RP Patnaik in a TV interview.
RP also clarified that he has never met Sid Sriram in person but he said he has heard his songs.
