Salman Khan starrer Radhe is the first big Bollywood film to have a simultaneous theatrical and digital release. The action entertainer will have a premiere on Zee Plex on a pay-per-view basis. As per the official sources, the viewers need to pay Rs. 249 to watch it on Zee Plex. The film will hit the screens on May 13.
With Zee Plex, people can watch Radhe either on Zee5 or DTH platforms like Tata Sky and Airtel DTH. The entire Bollywood is looking forward to the reception that Radhe is going to get. If the film manages to do well with this formula, we can expect other big-ticket films to follow the route of simultaneous release in both theatrical and digital formats.
Directed by Prabhu Deva, Radhe features Disha Patani as the female lead. Touted to be a masala potboiler, Radhe features Salman Khan as a ruthless cop. Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda played the other important roles in the movie.
