The COVID Second Wave has ignited the OTT boom once again. Along with the existing players, another OTT platform, Spark OTT is entering the stage in a grand manner. Spark is a unit of the UK-based Incrivel technologies Pvt Ltd, now aggressively venturing into the Indian OTT market.
Entrepreneur Sagar Machanuru is the man behind this platform which will cater content of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and the Hindi audience. The entry is timed well when the ground is favorable to the OTT platforms with the audience preferring entertainment at home.
Ram Gopal Varma had made the platform a permanent home for his content. His D Company will be the first film premiering on the platform from May 15th. D Company is said to be the true story of India’s Most Wanted criminal, Dawood Ibrahim. The trailer of the movie is already out and is heading towards one million views.
Several other projects of RGV will also go live on the OTT Platform. Besides, several blockbuster films of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages will also be streaming on the platform. Sunil’s Kanabadutaleduu, Tablet, Cab Stories, Idhi Mahabharatham kaadu, Teravenaka bhagotam (Real life stories of filmy people) are some of the interesting projects going live.
