Celebrities across the world are coming forward and contributing their bit in helping India fight against the ongoing second wave of the coronavirus. Prominent Telugu actor and MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna came forward to help his constituency people during these tough times.
Balakrishna represents the Hindupur constituency in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. To help the people of the region, Balayya sent COVID-19 medicines worth Rs. 20 lakhs from Hyderabad. Local TDP leaders have distributed these COVID kits to the relatives of the patients earlier this morning.
The Simha actor always remains in the frontline to help people during crisis situations. Balayya lent financial aid during the COVID crisis last year as well. Once again he proved his generosity by helping the people of his constituency in this unprecedented situation.
On the film front, Balakrishna will be next seen in the movie Akhanda. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, this movie was supposed to release this month but stands postponed now due to the ongoing lockdown. The new release date will be announced once the situation gets back to normalcy.
