Prabhas To Play An Army Officer

National star Prabhas is working on a series of interesting films. Prabhas decided to do films in multiple genres to treat his fans at the box office. Without getting affected by the failure of Saaho, Prabhas worked on his script selection and gave his nod to the finest filmmakers of the current times. One of them is Prashant Neel. The duo joined hands for the prestigious project, Salaar. The latest reports reveal that Prabhas will be seen as an army officer in the movie.

The film unit did not make any announcement on the film’s storyline or the characters that the lead actors play in the film. But, social media is buzzing with multiple speculations around the project. One of the speculations is that Prabhas plays a dual role in the film. Apart from playing an army officer, Prabhas will be seen in another role that is kept under wraps. Shruti Haasan is reportedly playing an Investigative journalist in the movie.

According to a report published in a leading Telugu daily, the sequences involving Prabhas as an Army officer will be a major highlight of Salaar. Touted to be an action entertainer, the film unit is currently editing the portions that were shot in the earlier schedules. It will be the first time to see Prabhas donning Military attire and it perfectly suits the actor.

Salaar is a production of Hombale Films. Ravi Basrur is the music director of the movie. The film is scheduled for a grand release for Sankranthi 2022.
