Nandamuri Balakrishna’s teaming up with Boyapati Sreenu for Akhanda has been raising a lot of curiosity among trade circuits. The film’s recent teaser blew the minds and Balayya’s Aghora get-up has hit the right chords. Boyapati’s powerful portrayal and Balayya’s macho dialogue delivery have swooned the film lovers. Meanwhile, Balayya is next under Krack director Gopichand Malineni is taking up shape. The film bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers is currently under pre-production stage.
The buzz is that the makers are planning to rope in Trisha opposite Balayya in Gopichand’s film. It is heard that the makers have approached Trisha and the actress is keen to accept the offer. It is likely to be Trisha’s comeback film in Telugu as it’s been a long time since the actress acted in Telugu movies. Her last film was Nayaki in 2016 which was a heroine-oriented film and it failed to work. She paired up with Balayya in Lion back in 2015. Balayya and Trisha are expected to be a nice combo as their on-screen chemistry is considered to be good.
Post pandemic, the makers of Balayya and Gopichand are likely to confirm Trisha’s onboard for the project. The film is going to have substance and yet commercial elements to entertain Balayya fans. Buzz is that the movie is likely to feature two female leads.
