Samantha Akkineni is making her full-length role debut in Hindi with the upcoming season two of the popular series The Family Man. The spy comedy-thriller is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 4. Ahead of this series’ release, Samantha revealed why it took her so long to make her debut in the Hindi arena.
Speaking in a recent interview, Samantha said, “Because maybe I am scared? The talent here is amazing. I am scared,” when asked about why it took her so long to make her Bollywood debut. Samantha also revealed that she wishes to work with Bollywood’s top hero Ranbir Kapoor. We have to see if anyone materializes this lovely combination.
Samantha earlier played a cameo in the Hindi film Ekk Deewana Tha. The Family Man marks her debut in a full-fledged role. She is playing the role of a terrorist in this series. Directed by Raj and DK, The Family Man features Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role. Priyamani and Sharad Kelkar played the other important roles in the show.
