Last week Megastar Chiranjeevi had announced that he would be setting up oxygen banks due to tackle the shortage of oxygen supply in the Telugu states. Chiru vowed to take up this initiative on a war footing and keeping his word, Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust has procured oxygen cylinders and concentrators.
Arrangements are being made to supply the oxygen with cylinders and concentrators to various parts of the Telugu states starting from today. A video of the same was posted on the Charitable Trust twitter handle and Chiru can be seen overlooking the cylinders and transport arrangements.
“The first batch of oxygen cylinders and concentrators will be supplied to hospitals in Anantapur and Guntur districts. As and when we procure more equipment, we would immediately disperse them to hospitals all over the Telugu states,” says Chiru in the video.
The Megastar also adds that Ram Charan did everything in his capacity to procure such large quantities of cylinders and concentrators. Well done!
“Mission begins. Let there be no deaths due to lack of life saving oxygen. #Covid19IndiaHelp #ChiranjeeviOxygenBanks,” tweeted Chiru retweeting the video.
What a swift action by Megastar and it’s a commendable effort.
