It has been almost a decade and a half since Kajal Aggarwal made her debut in films. She is one of the top actresses down the south for a long time now. After such an accomplished career graph, the Magadheera actress is now experimenting with her choices. Her fans are clueless about the intent behind her choices.
According to the sources, Kajal recently signed a film under the direction of Jayashankar. This upcoming filmmaker made his debut with Santosh Shoban’s Paper Boy, which was a disaster at the box office. Recently, he made an OTT movie called Vitamin She. Apparently, Jayashanker narrated a female-oriented thriller subject to Kajal and she was flattered by it. We hear that this project will go on the floors soon and will be bankrolled by a popular producer.
Kajal seems to be following the route of another star heroine Samantha by signing female-oriented flicks. She can get offers from big directors if needed but she is going with young filmmakers.
Is this an overconfident decision or a gutsy decision? At this stage, Kajal does not have anything to lose. She played the leading lady alongside star heroes in different languages. All she is trying is to rediscover herself by making herself available for young directors who usually won’t get a chance to work with star heroines.
Whatever might be the reason, Kajal must be appreciated for experimenting with her film choices now. She will be next seen in Chiranjeevi’s Acharya.
