Hard-hitting realistic dramas are slowly finding their way into Tollywood. After Palasa, Ardha Shathabdham now becomes another new film that deals with social issues. It has opted for a direct OTT release on the Aha platform. The trailer of this movie was unveiled by Natural Star Nani a few minutes back.
The story of Ardha Shathabdham is set in the late 1990s in rural Telangana. The movie seems to be dealing with various social issues like caste conflicts, Naxalism, and police brutality. A love story between the leads will be the thread for all these elements. The visuals look striking and bold. It looks like director Rawindra Pulle wanted to make it as realistic as possible.
Dialogues are sharp and thought-provoking as well. Especially the line, ‘Ee 50 yella swathantram deni kosamo, evari kosamo, ippatidaka evariki ardham kaledu’ stays in the minds of the viewers after watching the trailer.
Ardha Shatabdham produced by chitti kiran and Radha krishna under Rishithaa Sri Creations and 24 frames celluloid banners, features Karthik Ratnam and Krishna Priya in the lead roles. Naveen Chandra, Sai Kumar, and Amani played other pivotal roles in it. The movie will premiere on the Aha platform on June 11.
