The Family Man 3 To Have A Storyline Set In Covid Times

After the release of the long-awaited The Family Man Season 2, it is learnt that the makers have roped Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi and Priyamani for the third season. The third part will unwind in Nagaland where ace characters Srikant Tiwari, JK and his colleagues at TASC (Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell) collaborate on a new mission.

The post-credit scenes of season 2 unveiled that season 3 will be set in the Covid times. But Srikant’s battle will not be against the novel virus but will be taking on the Chinese troops. “The Family Man puts the special forces on a mission that’s relevant in the present political scenarios. Through the lockdown last year, the creators of the series, Raj and DK, with their digital partner Amazon, decided to take the franchise forward by setting it in the Covid times. Season 3 puts TASC against the enemies from China in the times when the entire world is fighting an invisible enemy in the form of this virus” – Sources revealed mentioned by Pinkvilla.

Season 3’s Chinese mission allotted to fight against India is called “Guan Yu”. Guan Yu is one of the best known historical figures in ancient history. He was a Chinese military general serving under the warlord Liu Bei during the late Eastern Han dynasty of China. Chinese worship Guan Yu even today with utmost respect and admiration. But it is yet to be known if The Family man 3 will have a connection with the historical background of Guan Yu.

Now that the stellar team and makers wowed us with Pakistan and Srilanka backdrops with a little bit of fear, action and dashes of drama and comedy, it is time to relish a covert mission with Srikant Tiwari and his gang taking on the Chinese troops.
