One of the most-anticipated films in the South Indian film industry is Jagame Thandhiram. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, this gangster drama features Dhanush in the lead role. It has now started premiering on Netflix simultaneously in 190 countries and 17 languages.
Jagame Thandhiram was originally supposed to release on May 1st, 2020. But the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown had forced the producers to sell the movie to streaming giant Netflix. Apparently, the video streaming platform shelled a huge amount to acquire the total rights of this movie.
Jagame Thandhiram deals with the story of a Tamilian who gets into gangsters’ tussle in London. The teaser and trailer generated a huge buzz across the country. Even songs like Rakita Rakita and Bujji remained chartbusters for many months.
Joju George, James Cosmo, and Aishwarya Lekshmi played other pivotal roles in this movie. Viewers who are waiting for a long time to watch this film can now catch it on Netflix.
