Vijay’s Beast To Clash With Telugu Biggies

Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast has been making a great noise. The title and the look in which Vijay is seen wielding the gun has been trending. The racy action entertainer with Pooja Hegde as the female lead is gearing up for the film’s shoot after the second wave of Covid. The film is scheduled for a multilingual release in Jan 2022 on Sankranthi eve. And this is expected to clash with Telugu biggies.

Telugu biggies like RRR and Pushpa Part 1 are aiming for Sankranthi release. While Pushpa has been postponed from August 13, 2021 release to Jan 2022, RRR is deferred from October 13, 2021 release.

Pawan Kalyan’s Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake is also scheduled for Sankranthi 2022. It is a wide release. The film is a multi-starrer with Rana Daggubati in the other lead. With such biggies lined up, it needs to be seen how Vijay’s Beast would fare in Telugu markets given that his films haven’t done well in the past.
