“It’s with great sadness that I share with you all the tragic news that my father breathed his last today. He was our inspiration and role model. What he accomplished was achieved through hard work, dedication, discipline, and foresight. Love you Dad for everything and I am sure you will be watching over us from your place among the clouds and stars,’’ his son and director Sangeeth Sivan posted on Facebook.
