Mythri Movie Makers last production venture Uppena broke several Box office records including highest grosser for a debut hero.
The film that introduced Vaishnav Tej as hero, Krithi Shetty as heroine and Buchi Babu Sana as director grossed 100 cr worldwide in its full run.
Uppena created a storm with a massive TRP of 18.5 which is highest for a debut hero. The second Telecast numbers are equally good with 11.37 Ratings.
Usually, films available for streaming do not get huge TRP’s. However, Uppena is super steady on Television indicating that it has won the hearts of the audience.
A youthful entertainer set in rural backdrop, Uppena that has music by Devi Sri Prasad was a musical hit as well. The fresh combination of Vaishnav and Krithi also worked wonders for the film.
