Actress Payal Rohtagi Arrested By Police

Bollywood actress Payal Rohtagi has been arrested by police in Ahmedabad in connection with her threatening comments on social media. Going into details, Payal Rohtagi had threatened and hurled abuse at her housing society’s chairperson on WhatsApp group. The actress has later deleted the post. However, the damage has been done. Satellite Police, Ahmedabad have arrested Payal and taken her into custody following a complaint from doctor Parag Shah who is a member of the society.

Going into details, Payal had attended the society’s AGM (Annual General Meeting) on June 20th though she was reportedly not a member. She was asked not to speak, but she allegedly abused the members. It was alleged that she had also gotten into a fight with some other members over children playing in the society. She reportedly objected a common plot being used as a play area. In her social media post, Payal reportedly threatened to kill the chairperson. This landed her in the legal trouble.

Payal, who appears in Bollywood films, is also known for TV audience. She was a contestant in Bigg Boss reality show in 2008. Earlier in 2019, Payal was arrested in Rajasthan for her explosive comments against late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
