Kannada beauty Sanjjanaa Galrani made her Telugu debut with the 2007 movie Bujjigadu. However, she couldn’t make it big in the industry. In spite of failing to gain stardom, Sanjjanaa managed to do films in Telugu and Kannada regularly. She has been on an acting break for some time and now, she is all set to make her comeback with a multilingual project.
Sanjjanaa shared the news of her new project with the Times of India in a recent interview. She said, “The film is titled Manishankar and will be directed by G Venkata Krishnan. I wanted to sign a film in which the plot revolves entirely around me. As an actress, a one-man show kind of a subject is hard to come by, as we often tend to be the second layer of the film.”
The 31-year-old actress said that this new film will be made in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. She said that it will be on the lines of Mirzapur and Gangs of Wasseypur. It will be shot in the interiors of Andhra Pradesh.
Sanjjanaa is currently undergoing a physical transformation for this movie. She feels fortunate enough for surviving in the industry for a long time. She will also touch her 50-film mark soon.
