Asuran Producer Plans A Bilingual With Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun was supposed to make his Tamil debut with a bilingual, directed by Lingusamy. The project was shelved after launching it in a grand ceremony in Chennai. Now, Allu Arjun is planning a film with a Tamil filmmaker. Asuran producer Kalaipuli S Thanu is going to produce the project.

According to a report published on a popular Tamil film news portal, a Tamil filmmaker is in talks to helm a project with Allu Arjun. Producer Thanu has confirmed the same. The film will be made as a bilingual in both Telugu and Tamil languages.

Thanu shares a close relationship with Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind. Thanu helped Aravind a couple of times in the past. It was Thanu who helped Aravind in finalizing the distributors for his Tamil production Maapillai starring Rajinikanth. Thanu also supported Aravind for the release of the dubbed version of Magadheera in Tamil.

AR Muragadoss is also said to have approached Allu Arjun with a script but there is no clarity on the same.

Under V Creations, Thanu bankrolled successful films like Theri, Asuran, Thuppaki, and many more.
