Panja Vaisshnav Tej has turned heads with his splashy debut Uppena that went onto become a Box Office blockbuster. The movie made with a budget of Rs 35 Crore has grossed over Rs 100 Crore. This naturally garnered a huge craze for Vaisshnav and his next projects.
Nagarjuna has roped in the hot n happening Vaisshnav for an interesting project. It is touted to be a sports backdrop film that is set against the hockey backdrop and Vaisshnav will be seen as a hockey player.
Grapevine is that Nagarjuna is offering a fancy Rs 5 Crore as remuneration for Vaisshnav for this film. Debutante director Prudhvi is going to helm the project. The film is currently under the pre-production stage. The film is expected to take off soon. Meanwhile, Vaisshnav has wrapped up the shoot of his second film with Krish Jagarlamudi which also has Rakul Preet.
