Arjun’s 17 year Old Dream Has Been Fulfilled

It is a well-known fact that Action King Arjun Sarja is a staunch devotee of Lord Hanuman. The Telugu people can fathom Arjun’s belief and respect towards Lord Hanuman as he often reiterated his admiration ever since he did Sri Anjaneyam in 2004. The actor has now constructed a temple in Chennai and it has been inaugurated.

Since the inauguration took place during covid times, the ceremony was live-streamed. Back in 2005, Arjun performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the temple and the foundation stone was laid by Pejawar seer Vishwesha Theertha. The monolithic idol of Lord Hanuman installed at the temple, is said to be about 35 feet tall and it was carved by a Karnataka sculptor Ashok Gudigar.

Arjun said that it was his dream of constructing a temple for Lord Hanuman whom he pays obeisance every single day.Though the actor wanted all of his family and friends to attend the inauguration, the pandemic left a few of his close people skip the event, including late Chiranjeevi Sarja’s wife Meghana Raj and son Jr.Chiru.

The temple will now be open to the public as covid restrictions have been relaxed in Chennai. A bunch of pictures from the inauguration and pooja have been doing rounds on the internet and we can see Arjun and his family getting clicked in front of the gigantic Lord Hanuman idol.
