Bollywood actor Esha Deol Takhtani, who was last seen in the 2019 film Catwalk is now getting ready to make her digital debut. She will soon be seen in an upcoming crime-drama series Rudra – The Edge of Darkness, which would be launched in the next couple of months on Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
Starring Ajay Devgn, the series will soon go into production and will be shot across Mumbai. After a long hiatus, Esha is going to make a grand entry into digital space by collaborating with Mr Devgn nearly after a decade. It is being produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India.
The series is inspired by the successful British series – Luther, a psychological crime drama. Esha Deol Takhtani expressed her excitement and happiness over working with Ajay Devgn. She also lauded the storyline which could let her explore something new this time. She said that the series will be unique with a fresh take on the quintessential cop drama that was barely experienced in the Indian context before.
