Director Sreenu Vaitla is the man behind several blockbuster films including Dhee, Dubai Seenu, Ready, King, Namo Venkatesa, Dookudu and Badshah. However, his downfall started since Aagadu.
Vaitla is now under pressure to prove his mettle. As he teamed up with Vishnu Manchu for D&D (Double Dose) for a sequel to Dhee, Vaitla is said to be ready with two more projects.
Coming to D&D, it is going to be hilarious film and has a family angle to it. After this, Vaitla is coming up with a film called ‘Doubles’. It is going to be on the lines of Ready and has family set-up like Ready. Post this, Vaitla has a crime thriller (yet-to-be-titled) which will also be laced with comedy.
As of now, Sreenu Vaitla is pinning high hopes on D&D as he needs to break the jinx. Once he tastes success, it’s going to be a cakewalk for him to materialize his next films. On the other hand, D&D is also crucial for Vishnu who hasn’t tasted success in a while.
