Teaser: Mani Ratnam’s ‘Navarasa’

Director Mani Ratnam is producing ‘Navarasa’ web-series which has been buzzing since its announcement. A day after launching the first looks, now we have the teaser but it’s not the regular one viewers see. The teaser has the announcement of the streaming date too.

Actors Prakash Raj, Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Revanthi, Siddharth, Parvathy, Yogi Babu, Prasanna, Rohini, Gautham Menon, Delhi Ganesh, Bobby Simha and others exhibiting different emotions. The teaser is completely based on expressions of actors and that’s a different take which sets it apart.

AR Rahman’s music adds more weight to the emotional visuals and he always gives his best when it comes to Mani Ratnam. ‘Navarasa’ is all about nine individual emotional tales directed by Arvind Swami, Bejoy Nambiar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthick Naren, Karthik Subbaraj, Priyadarshan, Rathindran Prasad, Sarjun, and Vasanth Sai.

This is also a one-of-a-kind project, many leading icons of Tamil Cinema have offered their services from the films towards the well-being of film workers in Tamil cinema impacted by the pandemic.

Netflix will be streaming ‘Navarasa’ and it will be available from August 6th.
