Ever since the India and China border dispute came into picture, the US President Trump has been voluntarily speaking up that he would help both the nations to settle the issue at the earliest and make peace.
But in recent times, Trump has specifically come in support of India and categorically added that if at all a war arises between both the nations, the US President would back India. Yet Trump has love towards Chinese people too.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany told reporters at a news conference that Trump loves the people of India as well as the people of China and wants to do everything possible to keep the peace for the people.”
Two more White House representatives also made comments in favor of India. The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been vocal against China and was going soft on India. Pompeo added that India is a great partner for the US. I have a great relationship with my foreign minister counterpart. We talked frequently about a broad range of issues. Also about the conflict India has along the border with China.”
Not just the above people, many officials and representatives are making positive comments on India and hopefully this would benefit in the standoff with China.
