Another Telugu Director Wraps Up Bollywood Debut Film

Of late, Telugu directors are venturing into Bollywood and proving their talent in the North as well. We have seen Sandeep Reddy Vanga scoring a blockbuster with Kabir Singh. Jersey director Gautam Tinnanuri is coming up with Jersey’s Hindi version on April 22.

Now, yet another Telugu director finished shooting his Bollywood debut project. We are talking about Sailesh Kolanu, who made his directorial debut with the 2020 film HIT. The same movie is being remade with the same title in Hindi.

The shoot of this project was wrapped up recently. The makers took to social media to announce the same. “Bhushan Kumar and Dil Raju’s HIT – The First Case, starring @RajkummarRao and @sanyamalhotra07 calls it a wrap, see you in cinemas soon,” tweeted one of the film’s production house T-Series.

Dil Raju is co-producing this film along with T-Series. Rajkumar Rao and Sanya Malhotra are playing the lead roles in it.

The official release date of HIT will be announced soon. Meanwhile, Sailesh is also shooting his other film HIT 2 in Telugu. Adivi Sesh plays the lead hero in it.
