Rocketry – A Honest Attempt By Madhavan

Talented actor Madhavan arrived in theatres the other day with his new film, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. This movie is the biopic of famous scientist Nambi Narayanan. Apart from acting in the lead role, Madhavan also wrote and directed the project.

After many delays in its release, Rocketry was released on July 1. The movie was not heavily promoted as well. Madhavan only banked on his content for publicity. Though the film received low occupancies on the first day, the talk is unanimously positive.

Nambi Narayanan was an ISRO scientist accused of espionage and jailed. But later, it was proved that he was innocent and released after 50 days of jail term. The film showcases his story and how he managed to catch the people who accused him of false charges.

Madhavan tried to showcase the life of Nambi in the most genuine way and didn’t for any fictional elements to commercialize the project. Simran, who acted alongside him in films like Paravasam and Amrutha, reunited with him for this movie.

People who watched Rocketry were praising the film and lauded Madhavan for his efforts. But industry experts opined that the movie might not do well in theatres and instead remain an award-winning project.
