Charan-Lokesh Film: Nothing Concrete, Not Confirmed

“Vikram” movie fame director Lokesh Kanagaraj who has impressed Telugu audiences with a spate of films including Khaidi and Master earlier has shared some thoughts regarding his future plans with few Telugu media folks. But then, it looks like his words are blown out of proportion, and ‘mega fans’ are expecting pretty big stuff. Truth is however different from that.

With Lokesh meeting Ram Charan when Megastar Chiru invited Kamal Haasan to his house to felicitate him for Vikram’s success, rumours started popping up that very soon the film’s director will be making a movie with the RRR star. However, when quizzed about the same, director Vikram gave quite a diplomatic reply but not any confirmation. He said, “I’ve met Charan sir and if at all we make a movie it will be the biggest. However, he has 2-3 commitments and I’m also having a similar number of movies to wrap. After that, we might collaborate”.

There is a lot of difference between ‘we will collaborate’ and ‘we might collaborate’, and it took SS Rajamouli almost 9 years to fulfill a movie commitment given to Mahesh Babu and producer KL Narayana, where the deal is on paper as well. So, how far these ‘might collaborate’ dreams will come true?

For now, there is nothing concrete about Ram Charan and Lokesh Kanagaraj movie, and we could simply say that nothing is confirmed too.
