The name Marilyn Monroe needs no introduction. The model turned actress was one of the greatest heroines in the film industry and she dominated Hollywood in the 1950s. With popularity, Marilyn Monroe had her share of controversies that allegedly led her to deppression and her death is still a mystery though it was confirmed as suicide.
The life of Marilyn Monroe is unfolding as ‘Blonde’ and Spanish actress Ana de Armas is reprising the role of Marilyn. The trailer of the film is out and it is all the stuff for a perfect biographical feature. This film is inspired by the novel written by Joyce Carol Oates.
Behind the glory we see on the silver screen, there is a harsh truth and Marilyn Monroe’s has similar things to deal with. Though she is the top actress who ruled many hearts and had a huge fan base, she was going through a lot that none can imagine. It’s a battle within but she is tired of playing Marilyn Monroe all the time.
‘Blonde’ is directed by Andrew Dominik and the trailer is an emotional ride. Netflix will be streaming the film from September 28th.
