Director Bobby undergoes name change!

A while back the title teaser of Megastar Chiranjeevi 154^th film was unveiled. Loaded with commercial elements, Megastar impressed with his makeover and he carried the mass swag with ease. If one noticed something in the credits to the teaser, it was the director’s name.

Director KS Ravindra’s pet name is Bobby and in all his previous films, his original name was used as the screen name and the pet name (Bobby) would appear in brackets. In the teaser of ‘Waltair Veerayya’ Bobby’s name was shown as Bobby Kolli and his original name Ravindra was completely excluded.

The director’s pet name, Bobby, turned into a screen name while his surname Kolli was added after the pet name. ‘A Bobby Kolli Film’ appears in the end credits after Chiru throws the fire stick.

For now we are yet to know the reasons behind this name change but we know that celebrities often value certain sentiments and Bobby might have gone for rechristination after suggestions from experts.

‘Waltair Veerayya’ will arrive at the box office for Sankranthi 2023 and let’s see will Bobby’s name change work in his favour.
