This MNC Turns 6-Day Week

Samsung, facing its worst earnings in over a decade, has mandated a six-day workweek for its executives in a bid to instill a sense of urgency. The change is aimed at addressing the company’s underperformance and rallying efforts to overcome challenges. Executives can choose between working an extra day on Saturday or Sunday. This move reflects Samsung’s adoption of “emergency mode” amidst a significant decline in profits, attributed to various economic factors.
