#NTRNeel: Pre-Production Delays Make Pongal Release Unlikely?

Jr. NTR, the “Man of the Masses,” is currently busy shooting his Bollywood biggie, War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, War 2 also features Hrithik Roshan in the other lead role. Meanwhile, Jr. NTR has signed a project with Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled #NTRNeel.

The movie was launched a few months ago, and the pre-production work is currently ongoing. In the announcement poster, the makers had revealed that the film would hit the screens on January 6, 2026. However, based on the current situation, it seems unlikely that the film will be released during Sankranti 2026.

According to the latest reports, #NTRNeel is expected to begin shooting either in March or April. It is said that a significant portion of the pre-production work is still pending. If the film starts shooting in March or April, it may wrap up by October or November, provided there are no major delays in the shooting schedule.

If the shoot concludes in October or November, completing the post-production by the last week of December and releasing the film by January becomes quite challenging, especially considering the scale of the film and the pace at which Prashanth Neel typically works. Therefore, it seems highly unlikely that #NTRNeel will release during Pongal 2026.
