A pall of gloom descended on Chandrampalem village following the death of a couple belonging to the place, in the Simhachalam temple wall collapse incident.
Pilla Umamaheswara Rao (30) and Sailaja (26), both natives of Chandrampalem, were working in a software firm in Hyderabad.
On account of work from home facility, the duo began living in the village a few days ago. They visited the Simhachalam temple on the occasion of Chandanotsavam this morning and fell victims to the mishap at the temple.
The CM condoled the family members of the couple.
