Senior Actress’s Shocking Statements On Bollywood

Senior actress Simran revealed that the Hindi film industry is not really aware of her body of work and pays her 1/10th of the remuneration which she gets in the South. In a recent interview with the Chennai Times, Simran said that she hasn’t met many people in Bollywood who are good at heart and welcoming.

She said that “I worked with a good team for Gulmohar, and we made a good film. Around the same time, I worked on another film, where I didn’t connect at all.” Simran went on to say that people in Bollywood still ask her to send test reels and audition videos to check if she fits the role or not.

“They also want me to work for 1/10th of the remuneration which I get in the South. So, I have decided to work in Hindi films only if the makers are aware of me,” she stated.

Apart from Gulmohar, Simran was seen in Salman Khan’s Hindi biggie, Tiger 3. Both films were released in 2023. Netizens are assuming that she might be referring to that film in her interview.

This year, Simran was seen in Tamil films Tourist Family and Good Bad Ugly. She will be next seen in a horror fantasy film titled “The Last One”, directed by Deepak Bagga.
