Sena with Senani: Pawan’s New Cadre Strategy

Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has launched a three-day program in Visakhapatnam titled “Sena with Senani” to discuss party strategies and strengthen its image among the people. The program began on Thursday and will conclude with a massive public meeting on the final day.

On the opening day, MLAs, MLCs, and ministers attended the sessions. The focus was on how to take the government’s welfare schemes effectively to the public. Discussions were also held on party activities and responsibilities of leaders. It was decided that ministers should not remain confined to their departments but should regularly interact with people and party workers. Pawan Kalyan stressed the importance of frequent communication with the cadre.

A unique aspect of the program is Pawan’s decision to interact with only a select group of party workers. About ten representatives from each constituency have been chosen for direct interaction with him on Friday. This selective approach has sparked internal discussions, but Pawan clarified his reasoning.

According to him, strong leadership is not about numbers but about having dedicated voices that can influence and mobilize many. Even a few committed individuals, he believes, can drive large movements. A blueprint has already been prepared to guide these selected members on how to operate effectively and strengthen the party at the constituency level.

While the first two days of the event are limited to indoor discussions, the third day will feature a public rally. Pawan will address the gathering not only about Jana Sena’s plans but also about the government’s welfare initiatives. Interestingly, the meeting venue has been named after freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju.

Political observers note that while TDP is aggressively moving forward in the coalition government, Janasena is seen as being on the back foot. With this new initiative, Pawan Kalyan is determined to change that perception and give his party a stronger presence in state politics.
