Balakrishna Assures Akhanda 2 Will Shake Theatres Again

God of the masses, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and director Boyapati Sreenu’s much-awaited movie Akhanda 2 is set for release on December 5th. Today, the team celebrated a pre-release event in a grand and majestic manner.

Boyapati Sreenu revealed that Akhanda 2 has completed the censor process and received a U/A certificate. “The censor officials said that I’ve earned a place of great respect with this work. Balakrishna is our asset, our strength, and our courage for this movie.

“My heartfelt thanks to Thaman for delivering phenomenal music. Our journey began with Sarrainodu, and we’ll continue delivering hits. My producers, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta, deserve full credit for trusting me completely. The glass is mine, but the juice is theirs. They gave me a free hand, and that’s why such a film was possible.

When Balayya and I decided to make another powerful film after Akhanda, we wanted something truly divine. After completing the movie, we realized it was a sacred task, guided by the divine itself. Soldiers fight wars for their motherland, but those who fight for their karmabhoomi, the land of duty, exist only in India. They are our yogis, the force behind our nation’s progress. India hasn’t given knowledge just to itself but to the entire world through the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavatam, and Bhagavad Gita, eternal guides for humanity. If such a land is attacked, can God remain silent? The death-conquering Lord becomes death itself to destroy evil, that embodiment of divine fury is Akhanda.”

Nandamuri Balakrishna stated, “Boyapati knows me not just personally but also understands my fans deeply. We always aim to send a positive message through our films. He has given me three blockbusters. Recently, we showed our film’s rushes and trailer to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who appreciated it, saying that we have powerfully depicted the greatness of Sanatana Dharma.

My makeup took over two and a half hours to apply and another hour to remove. Discipline and my respect for fellow artists define me. I urge everyone to complete their films quickly while continuing to make quality movies.”
